The San Francisco Giants are enjoying spring training in Phoenix, under new manager Tony Vitello, as the Cactus League, which now features 15 teams at 10 stadiums. The league saw a surge in attendance after teams began building modern centralized facilities in the early 2000s. Spring training increased when the Cubs opened Sloan Park, a complex that can seat up to 16,000. The Giants play at Scottsdale Stadium, which is one of the hottest tickets in the league. The Cactus league is a baseball fan's paradise, with nearly 6 in 10 attendees from out of state. The team is currently 8-2 as of Monday evening, having only lost to the Colorado Rockies and Milwaukee Brewers.
