ISA Energia has completed a transmission deal worth R$1.167 billion (approx. US$208 million) with Axia Energía, which acquired the remaining 49% stake in IE Madeira from Axia and Axia Nordeste, giving ISA full control of that concession. The transaction was structured as a cross-shareholding unwinding and allowed ISA Energa to consolidate its portfolios. The deal also allowed Axia to take full ownership of IE Garanhuns, giving the company a clear consolidation strategy within Brazil's power-transmission sector. The completion of the deal followed regulatory approvals from Brazilian authorities and a net adjusted payment of R$167 billion.
