NWS: At least an EF1 tornado went through Grayson, Hardin, Meade counties

At least an EF1 tornado hit Grayson, Hardin, Meade counties in Kentuckuckuckers, causing significant damage to several communities across the state. The National Weather Service is working in several counties where the tornado knocked down trees and power lines, leaving thousands without power. Local EMERGEMA MANAGEMENT Director, Caray SIMms, reported that no one was seriously hurt in the storm. The County EMERGENCY Management Office is working to restore power to more than 2000 customers in Grayson County, which has been hit hard by the storm, following multiple warnings. Local residents reported extensive damage to their homes and businesses. Local businesses have been working to repair the power lines and downed downed trees and downing power lines. Local fire department personnel are working to ensure the power is restored by Monday night.
