A Winter Weather Advisory and a Blizzard Warning are in place for much of the northeastern half of the state, with up to an inch of snow predicted for some areas. High winds are expected to be the main concern for these areas, causing travel difficulties. High-ranking high-ranking officials have issued high-level warnings for high winds. The cold weather is expected to continue throughout the day.
