Starbucks, the company's CEO, Brian Niccol, has successfully turned around the company, with a 4% increase in same-store sales in North America and a 3% decrease in overall transactions. This success is due to aggressive retail redesigns and the addition of more than 100,000 seats to cafes by the end of 2026. The company is also improving customer service and introducing a modernized menu with fresh-baked croissants and cold foams. However, operating margins are still not expected to improve until fiscal 2028.
