Vorteks, the genre label of Dubai-based sales agency Cercamon, has acquired international rights for Brea Grant and Ed Dougherty's horror satire, Grind. The acquisition follows the film's debut at the Midnighter section of SXSW. The film, which explores the anxieties of the workplace, stars four interconnected characters including a worker at a multi-level marketing business, a food delivery driver, and a content moderator. Vorteks aims to handle up to eight titles a year across genres including horror, thriller, sci-fi, action, and fantasy films.
