April’s unseasonably warm, dry weather increased wildfire risk across San Diego County

The National Weather Service has reported that April was unseasonably warm and dry in San Diego County, making it more susceptible to wildfires. The county's total rainfall for April will be only 0.23 inches, which is 0.39 inches below average, compared to the average of 1.46 inches in March. The weather service also predicted that San Diego's average monthly temperature will be around 64.1 degrees, 1.5 degrees above average, and there is no significant rainfall in the seven-day forecast.
