Johnnie Lillie, a 19-year-old Texas man, allegedly violated bond at least a half dozen times while out on probation before being charged with murder. He was sentenced to probation in June 2024 for burglary of a motor vehicle and was granted bond while free on that bond. While free on this bond, LillIE was charged with another burglary of an unspecified motor vehicle. On Sept. 22, 2025, Lilie allegedly shot and killed 29-year old Jermarkus Johnson. Lillies was arrested on Oct. 1 for an unrelated charge and remains in jail.
