17 arrested in Placer County drug trafficking bust, large quantities of meth seized

A multi-agency drug trafficking investigation led to 17 arrests and seizure of large quantities of methamphetamine. The operation targeted a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking network linked to a Mexican drug trafficking organization and two Sacramento-area gangs. Search and arrest warrants were conducted at 25 locations across Sacramento and Placer counties. The suspects are expected to face charges through the Placer County District Attorney's Office. The sheriff's office also revealed that they seized 65 pounds of methamphetamine, 7.25 kilograms of cocaine, half a pound of MDMA, 26 firearms, and over $100,000 in cash.
