The FBI is investigating allegations of questionable practices by officials in Maricopa County, Arizona, regarding the 2024 election. The third-party facility, Runbeck Election Services, was hired by county officials to sort ballots for the county in 2024. The facility was found to have opened pallets full of blank ballots and stored completed mail-in ballots alongside blank ones. The FBI obtained a subpoena from the Arizona state Senate as part of its expanding probe into election irregularities across the country. This comes after the FBI raided Fulton County, Georgia, election offices in January and seized 650 boxes of ballots from the 2020 election.
