Pope issues stiffest rebuke yet to Trump over war threats

Pope Leo XIV has criticised President Trump's threats to wipe out Iran's civilization, calling them "truly unacceptable" and "unacceptable." The first U.S.-born pontiff has been outspoken in his opposition to many of Trump's policies, including the Iran war and immigration. He urged citizens of all countries involved to contact authorities and called for negotiations to end the war. The White House responded by saying there's nothing wrong with military leaders calling for prayers for their service members.
