As warm weather returns, CPW urges boaters and swimmers to bring, and wear, a life jacket

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) has urged the public to wear a life jacket as they return to the water, citing the coldness of the Pueblo Reservoir, and the difficulty of swimming in warm water. It is required to keep at least one life jacket on your boat for each person on board, but park officials recommend keeping it on the body. The majority of water deaths are due to the person not wearing a life device.
