Bingham High School's high school baseball team won 2-0 over Copper Hills in their region opener, marking a significant victory for the team despite only having played three games. Despite struggling to score, Bingham's defense made a difference in the game. Senior Beckham Lindsey, who ended the game with two strikeouts and did not allow any walks until the sixth inning, was the standout player. Despite not being hitting well, the game's performance was praised by Bingham head coach Beau Stoker.
