'It's all I think about': Artemis 2 commander Reid Wiseman is zeroed in on historic moon mission

Reid Wiseman, former Navy captain and aviator, is set to command the first human moon mission since 1972, Artemis 2. The 10-day-long mission is scheduled to launch no earlier than April 1. Wiseman is in charge of the mission and the four humans who will go around the and back on the mission. He was selected as a NASA astronaut in 2009 and has previously served as NASA's chief astronaut from 2020 to 2022. His personal experiences include being an only parent with two daughters, who he considers the most challenging phase of his life. The mission is designed to help pave the way for the first crewed moon landing since the Apollo era.
