Multiple women have come forward with claims of sexual abuse against late United Farm Workers co-founder and civil rights activist Cesar Chavez. The allegations were made to the New York Times, with two women, Ana Murguia and Debra Rojas, both under the age of 13, alleging years of grooming and sexual abuse. The accounts were substantiated through interviews with their former colleagues and documents. The United Farm Worker's (UFW) has stated that it will not participate in any Cesar Chantant Day activities.
