Mayor: Businesses are moving to, expanding in Eastlake

Eastlake, Ohio, Mayor Kevin Kostelnik highlighted the progress made in the city. He expressed his gratitude for his staff and City Council members for their support during his State of the City speech. Among the upcoming businesses is Amplify, a subsidiary of Buckeye Relief, a marijuana dispensary, and ArchWell Health, which opened a clinic for seniors in the same city. The city also plans to open a Speedy’s Grub Shack location on Vine Street and a Domino’S opening in the former Payless Shoes store. The Lakeland Boulevard paving process was completed, with a $635,000-dollar Ohio Public Works Commission paving project also completed. The mayor highlighted the state of Eastlake's finances, noting that the city's major project is a $31-dollar Community Development Center.
