North Korea has praised Iran's appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as its new supreme leader and condemned the US and Israel's 'unlawful military attack' on Iran. A spokesperson from North Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Pyongyang respected Iran's choice to select Khamenei, the son of late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The spokesperson also condemned the attacks for undermining the political system and territorial integrity of a country. North Korea has criticised the US-Israel war on Iran, calling it "gangster-like conduct" in the Middle East.
