After six seasons on TV, Peaky Blinders is heading to the big screen with The Immortal Man, a film set six years after the events of season 6. Director Tom Harper explained that the movie was conceived as a feature-length conclusion to Tommy Shelby's story. He highlighted the differences between the show and the film, which is more cinematic due to location and multiple story lines, as well as the focus on Tommy Shelby. Harper also noted that the actor Cillian Murphy was "both different and the same" as the actor he reunited with for the movie. The film is currently being released in select theaters and streams on Netflix from March 20.
