Ardmore holding forums covering proposed tax, election candidates

The city of Ardmore is planning to introduce a one cent sales tax in the upcoming election, which would fund street repairs, drainage improvement and storm water mitigation. The city's Chamber of Commerce will host a forum on the tax, which will also be held at the same venue as a candidate forum for candidates for the City of Arrenda. The tax would be on any taxable purchase made in the city limits.
