A disturbance call escalated into an alleged axe assault in Brunswick County, Virginia, on Saturday, April 18. The man, 41-year-old Michael Louis Stith, was shot and taken into custody. Stith was identified as the primary aggressor and later flown to Chippenham Hospital with serious injuries. The incident reportedly began with a harassment/trespassing situation.
