A new Nintendo Switch 2 could be the poster child for replaceable batteries

Nintendo is reportedly planning to release a revised version of the Switch 2 in the European Union, allowing users to easily replace their own batteries. This move is in response to EU rules that will mandate devices to be more easily replaced by batteries. The new version will be released "soon," with both the console and the Joy-Cons expected to have replaceable batteries. However, the console's specifications will remain unchanged in Japan.
