Crew Kicks Off Week Prepping for Cygnus Cargo Mission - NASA

The Expedition 74 crew has begun preparing for the next U.S. cargo mission to the International Space Station. They also serviced spacesuits, configured scientific hardware, and studied how microgravity affects blood pressure. NASA Flight Engineers Chris Williams and Jack Hathaway practiced maneuvering the Canadarm2 robotic arm to capture the Cygnus XL when it arrived on the station. The cargo spacecraft will be used to deliver advanced microgravity research gear to study quantum computing technology, test stem cell therapies, and promote astronaut health. Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev also worked on spacecraft docking hardware.
