Rex Heuermann, the accused Gilgo Beach Killer, may plead guilty to the murders of seven women in Suffolk County, according to multiple media outlets. The potential plea deal is not his own decision, as he does not have access to defendants who are represented by their lawyers. Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney, who is prosecuting the case, said that while he has worked with a grand jury and has control over an indictment, he has limited access to potential plea deals in this case. Tierney also commented on the potential outcome of a guilty plea, stating that "nothing is done until it's done". Heuemann is expected in court on April 8 and is charged in the deaths of seven different women.
