A federal appeals court has allowed the $400 million White House ballroom renovation to proceed, albeit temporarily. The court also called for clarification from a federal judge regarding national security issues. The project aims to create a massive ballroom on the site of the White House's East Wing. Last month, the judge ordered a halt to construction, stating that Trump needed congressional approval. The lawsuit was brought by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
