The Orange Police Blotter has highlighted several incidents involving Cleveland, Ohio, officers who stopped a Kia sedan leaving a Whole Foods parking lot following a fight-in-progress in the parking lot. The occupants identified an ex-boyfriend as his ex-girlfriend’s former boyfriend who had allegedly pulled her out of a 2022 Polestar she was driving. The suspect denied assaulting his ex, claiming he only grabbed her by the shoulders and threatened to beat her if she continued to interfere with his attempts. The police cited the suspect for violations of the Pinecrest code of conduct and ordered him to remove both cars from the property and not return. Other incidents occurred during traffic stops involving a Jeep Wrangler with no visible registration and an illegally-tinted front driver's window, and a Jeep Patriot with a second-degree felony warrant. The driver was also subject to a year-long, no-contact order in effect until Sept. 14 between the two, which was signed by a judge, and was not allowed to possess or purchase any guns.
