Tucanian Jewish community is on edge following a shooting at a Michigan synagogue on March 12. Local synagogues and the Tucson Jewish Community Center have heightened security measures following the Iran conflict. Rabbi Yehuda Ceitlin of Chabad Tucson stated that the community has been responding to a pattern of hostility towards Jewish people and has been on heightened alert since the conflict began. The Tucson Police Department and the Pima County Sheriff's Department are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
