Sunday brings a new severe weather threat to the North Shore, I-10/I-12 corridor, and parts of the South Shore along with the Mississippi counties. These storms will bring a marginal risk of severe weather, particularly for damaging wind gusts and the potential for large hail. The potential for a tornado cannot be ruled out, but it is not expected to be a major rain making event. The storms are expected to move through southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi by around 11 a.m.
