The East Hampton Town Police Department has welcomed six new officers into the ranks following the graduation of the Suffolk County Police Academy. The graduates will undergo field training for the next eight to 10 weeks and are expected to be included in full patrol staffing for the summer. The department is also working on the hiring of additional positions in the 2026 budget.
