The beads, which he wears every game, often break and fall over the floor. Andrea had to retrieve them from her hotel before the game, and received a police escort back to the arena just to get them. The charm helped UConn secure a 71-62 victory over Illinois, advancing them to the national championship game for the third time in four years. If the team wins, it will be their third championship in four seasons.
