The Timberwolves defeated Houston 110-108 in an overtime game, the largest in recent NBA history, according to play-by-play data. The Wolves were leading by nine late in the fourth, but lost the lead and injured Jaden McDaniels. Rudy Gobert fouled out in regulation and Naz Reid was ejected in overtime. The teams will meet again in Houston on April 10. Wolves guard Ayo Dosunmu did not play due to calf soreness, but coach Chris Finch stated that he felt it was a "crime against humanity" that he had to bench him for the game.
