Anthony DeMayo, 18, of Lynn, has been charged with the murder of 68-year-old Janet Swallow in Danvers, Massachusetts, according to court documents. The incident occurred off campus and was discovered by residents who reported seeing Demayo acting erratically and waving a knife. The investigation led police to the Amherst Street home where they found Swallow dead. The Essex County District Attorney, Paul Tucker, stated that it appears that DeMayos acted alone and that there is no connection between the suspect and the victim. DeMayon was set to undergo a mental evaluation prior to his arraignment.
