MLK’s Granddaughter Yolanda Renee King Attends Prom And Cotillion Ahead Of Spring Graduation

Yolanda Renee King, granddaughter of Martin Luther King Jr., attended several events over the weekend ahead of her high school graduation. She attended prom and participated in a cotillion at the Georgia International Convention Center. King expressed her pride in the tradition and gratitude for the support she felt during the event. After graduating from Atlanta International School this spring, King will attend Columbia University. She has previously promoted her family's legacy, including the role of her grandmother Coretta Scott King in the Civil Rights movement.
