Seafood sold in Florida recalled for possible norovirus contamination: FDA

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning about potential norovirus contamination in seafood from February 13 to March 3. The warning includes Manila clams from the Lummi Indian Business Council from Drayton Harbor, Washington. Restaurants and retailers are urged to dispose of the recalled products. The norivirus, sometimes referred to as the stomach flu or stomach bug, can cause vomiting and diarrhea and lead to dehydration. There is no specific treatment available for norivians.
