An intense upper-level pattern will foster the growth of supercells, and a Quasi-Linear Convective System (QLCS) is expected to develop ahead of a cold front on Monday. The WXII 12 First Warning weather team urges people to prepare for the potential severe weather on Monday, with widespread damaging wind gusts forming and the risk of strong tornadoes. If severe weather doesn't develop on Monday it will make you more prepared for the next round of severe weather later this spring.
