Illinois Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) has introduced a proposal to make it illegal to take an abortion pill without the physical presence of a healthcare provider and prevent the remains of unborn children from being flushed into the public water system. The bill would also require a physical examination before an abortion drug and ensure that the unborn baby will not be flushed down the toilet. The proposal is supported by Students for Life of America, which estimates that around 50 tons of chemical waste and human remains are flushed into America’s water systems annually due to abortions. The chemicals from the pills could cause health problems for all Americans and potentially lead to immune and nervous system disturbances, infertility, increased cancer risk, moodiness, and decreased testosterone in men.
