A busy week of events at the Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento is causing excitement for local businesses. High school basketball championships, concerts, and a Kings game are scheduled for the week leading up to the event. Alan Jimenez, owner of Caféx, said that while his business doesn't stay open late, conferences and events tend to bring in customers from the morning to late afternoon. Additionally, Fizz Champagne and Bubbles Bar reported a strong performance during the night due to these events. The next event at the center will be the March Madness women's basketball tournament.
