The Knicks defeated the Grizzlies 130-119, ending a three-game losing streak and a humiliating defeat the previous day in Houston. The Knicks had a record-breaking first quarter, scoring 48 points in the first, but cooled off in the second half, allowing the lead to dwindle to three points. Despite this, coach Mike Brown had to run his starters until the final buzzer. The win was largely attributed to a strong performance from OG Anunoby, who led with 25 points and 13 boards. Karl-Anthony Towns also contributed a triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Despite these victories, the Knicks are still third in the East and have lost 10 consecutive games against teams with losing records.
