Unseasonably warm temperatures across central Indiana set records over the weekend, leading to a return to more typical March conditions. The National Weather Service confirmed that Indianapolis reached 88 degrees on Sunday, breaking the previous daily record set in 1907. Despite this, the recent warmth was unusual for the time of year. Forecasters are also monitoring the potential for severe weather later in the week.
