Matt Leinart: USC asked me to unretire my jersey for a recruit, I said absolutely not

US football player, Matt Leinart, has stated that he will not retire his No. 11 jersey at USC, which was retired in honor of him, despite multiple requests from top recruits wanting to wear the number. Leineart, who won the Heisman Trophy and is currently playing at SMU, did not rule out making an exception if his son, Cole, or two of his younger sons, wanted to wear No.11 at USC. He also mentioned that he would not accept any money offered for the No. 9 jersey.
