Argentine footballer Lionel Messi scored a brace and led Inter Miami to a 3-2 victory over Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer (MLS) in front of over 75,000 fans. His goal was the match winner in the 79th minute. The victory was witnessed by the second-largest crowd in MLS history. Rafael Navarro and Darren Yapi each scored for Colorado. Miami extended their lead to 2-0 in the fifth minute of first-half stoppage time, with German Berterame scoring another goal. The win was played down by a red card for Colorado's Yannick Bright.
