French singer Marylou, formerly Maryloul Mayniel, has released her debut album, Choke Enough, which quickly gained popularity and marked her as a new force in experimental pop music. She also became a mother and toured the world with the release of a deluxe edition featuring FKA Twigs. The 32-year-old artist, whose music has been online since 2013, has also released a mixtape named Galore in 2020. Her music is described as having a playful approach rooted in her feminist perspective. Her first official album was released as Oklou in 2013 and she plans to make a guest appearance on NTS in 2025.
