Judge blocks Trump administration from revising childhood vaccine reccomendations

A federal judge has temporarily halted the Trump administration from reducing the number of vaccines recommended for children by children. The decision was made by Judge Brian E. Murphy, who also stated that Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. likely violated federal procedures in revamping a key vaccine advisory committee. The American Academy of Pediatrics and other groups had filed a lawsuit asking for the judge to halt the reduction of the nation's childhood vaccination schedule. The Department of Health and Human Services expressed hope that the decision would be overturned.
