85th annual Na Hula Festival brings music, dance to Kapiolani Park

The 85th annual Nā Hula Festival took place at Kapiolani Regional Park in Honolulu, with performances from several hālau, the Royal Hawaiian Band, and 2026 Lei Queen Pua and her court. The event has been held since 1940 and is Hawaiʻi’s longest-running noncompetitive hula festival. Organizers said it celebrates the artistry and tradition of hula while bringing the community together for a day of music and dance.
