He paid off his student loans three months into the show, a profound moment when he realized he was out of debt. Prior to being cast in "the Pitt," Ball worked four jobs before being cast and earning a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination for best supporting actor in a drama series for his performance on "ThePitt".
