Users of popular winter sports app, OnTheSnow.com, have voted Banff Sunshine Resort as North America's best ski resort. The resort, located on Lookout Mountain in Banff National Park, offers 3,300 acres of terrain and is the only lift in Canada that crosses the Continental Divide twice. The Great Divide Express allows skiers and snowboarders to travel between Alberta and British Columbia. OnTheSouce, a website dedicated to OnTheTheSnow., ranked Banff as the top overall ski resort in North America in its annual Visitors’ Choice Awards for the 2025-2026 season. The site's users rate and review resorts for characteristics such as terrain, après ski, family friendly amenities, terrain parks, and night skiing.
