Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, two of the Lakers' key players, may continue to be sidelined due to regular season-ending injuries they sustained on April 2. However, the team is benefiting from both players being around as they begin their recovery. Doncedic (left hamstring), Reaves (left oblique), returned to Southern California after spending two weeks in Europe undergoing special treatment on his hamstring to expedite his healing process and return to the court sooner than expected. Coach JJ Redick said that the goal for the Lakers is to extend the season to the playoffs long enough for both Doncics and Reaves to play at some point during the playoffs.
