Tesla has reported a 6% increase in sales for Q1, with the company building a total of 408,386 electric vehicles, a 12.6% increase from Q1 2025, largely due to an overproduction issue. However, sales for the Models 3 and Y increased by 5.6%, while the Cybertruck, Model S, and Model X sales also increased by 19.7% year over year. Despite this growth, Tesla's energy storage business also declined, with only 8.8 GWh of energy storage deployed in Q1 compared to the same period as the previous year.
