The UAE is set to replace its current interceptor, the Mirage 2000-9, with the Rafale F4, the latest production standard of Dassault's twin-jet fighter aircraft. The UAE has signed for 80 units, worth $18 billion, and this is the largest international Rafale order ever placed. The F4 jets feature upgrades like improved fire protection and avoidance systems, enhanced frontal optronics, and are expected to be delivered by late 2026.
