The potential for severe weather is on the rise this weekend, with strong to severe thunderstorms predicted for Monday. The potential storms could impact the St. Jude Rock 'N Roll Marathon in downtown Nashville and the Franklin Main Street Festival. The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of Tennessee in a level 2 out of 5 risk zone, with all types of severe storms possible. The good news for the drought-stricken region is that it could receive between 2 and 3 inches of rain through the week.
