Apple's new Studio Display XDR and Studio Display Display Pro have limitations, as it won't work at 120Hz with some Macs and won't run on Intel Macs at all. The specifications page for both monitors indicate which models they are compatible with, including Macs running Apple Silicon and macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 or later. However, these monitors do not work on any Intel Mac models. The new Display operates at 60Hz across all Mac models, with earlier models of the iPad Pro and iPad Air, and all models of iPad and iPad mini.
